They grow up so fast...

I've been meaning to write this for awhile but haven't gotten around to it until now. Kyler has learned so much in what seems like such a short amount of time. I just LOVE to watch him grow. Everything he does is so entertaining, who needs TV when you have a baby? Here are some of the things I love to watch him do and things he has learned recently:
I love that when he hears music he dances. And sometimes he even sings along just making noises.
I love that he is a very good eater and when he eats something he really likes (like ice cream) he says "num num num".
He is a lot more vocal lately and knows he can get my attention by saying "mamamamaaaa".
He knocks on every door and says "dad?"
He talks on the "phone" which is usually just whatever is in his hand. And he usually talks to Jake, saying "dadada".
I love that he is a perfectionist like me. His food has to be right where he wants it when eating and he tends to eat in order, from the left to right of his tray or visa versa.
He is worse than our dog now when it comes to food. Has to taste everything we are eating even if he just ate and I know he isn't hungry.
When he puts a lot if food in his mouth I say chew it up and he makes this really obvious chewing motion even though he only has 4 teeth. Cracks me up.
I love that he gives good kisses. He will sometimes just come up to me and say "obah!" That's how he says muah. Too cute. And usually his mouth is open, of course. And if I tell him to give someone a kiss and he doesn't want to he will just put his forehead by their mouth so they can kiss him.
He is an amazing hugger and the best snuggler. That might be my favorite thing. He loves to just sit next to me or Jake and watch TV or just cuddle when we hold him.
He teases Nala and it's hilarious. They are so good together. He knows how to pet her and is always so soft and she knows not to lick him. Sometimes he will come up to the couch where she is sleeping and grab her feet, which she hates do she runs away and he chases after her laughing the whole time.
He isn't quite walking but is so close. We bought him some shoes for his birthday and he actually doesn't mind them. If he finds them on the floor he will try to put them on and it is so cute.
He is very good at helping clean up his toys...but doesn't understand that he has to leave them put away once we've cleaned up. Which is why my house is always a mess. And to that I say "meh, I have a baby."

I'm sure I could just go on and on about him so I'll just leave it at that. But I must say he is amazing. Children in general are. Recently, at work, someone asked the doctor what was the most amazing thing he knows about the human body. His answer was that we can survive. That we go through so much in the womb and then after we are born and our bodies take on so much and yet, here we are. I thought that was a wonderful answer. And it's true. I didn't think about it until after having my own child how much of a miracle life really is. Kyler is my everything. He is amazing in everyway and couldn't be more perfect. It is such a joy to have him in my life and have the oppertunity to watch him and care for him and give all my love to him. I think the best thought of all is knowing that whatever happens in this life he will always be sealed to me, always be my little baby, for all of eternity.
